Most airlines do not have first class Australia to USA.
QF does have first class, but the hard quality is now below other long haul first class airlines.
UA, DL & VA do not have first class Aust - USA
There is a step up from USA domestic first class (older 2 cabin aircraft) to business class on a long haul international wide body aircraft.

Premium cabin awards USA<---->Aust are very hard to get. Same with all airlines/ffp's
The "best usage" is the ffp that has availability.
