Connection in Brussels

Connection in Brussels
Good afternoon fine folks. I have a flight from Newark to Florence on Aug. 19 with a connection in Brussels. The flights are UA flights with UA flight numbers but the connection is operated by Brussels Air. I have 1 hr. and 30 minutes between flights.. I arrive in Brussels at 7:45am (hopefully) and my departure flight is at 9:15am. Can you kindly give me an idea of whether this is a doable scenario and what the process is like:
what terminal at BRU would I arrive at?
what terminal will I depart from?
how long is the walk to the departing terminal?
will I have to go through security checkpoint?
can I get some help from airline personnel to fasttrack security line?
and any other info you can share as I'm extremely anxious about making this connection. It is the only nonstop flight to Florence from Brussels the entire day,

Given the fact that Brussels is not the biggest airport, I guess 1h30 is more then enough. I'v done enough walks in the past through the terminals while waiting on departure and it took me less then 10 minutes to make it from one end of the terminal to the other.
As you're arriving from a non-Schengen destination, you will arrive in terminal B. Florence on the other hand is a Schengen destination and will depart from terminal A. Unfortunately I have no idea of the connection procedure / time needed as Brussels is my final stop, being from Belgium. But when leaving the aircraft on arrival in terminal B, I know there are signs for flight connections to terminal A / T before the passport check but I have never taken them. Biggest bottleneck at Brussels airport is usually the passport control, especially if the automatic passport gates for EU-passports are (once again) out of order.

At Brussels airport there is a Main Terminal divided in two areas: Concourse A (Pier) and Concourse B (Pier).
Passengers can reach these two piers from Arrivals and Departures Level.
In total, Brussels Airport has 109 gates.

Thank you TimDP for your rapid reply. I appreciate it very much. I guess I'll just have to see if the weather upon departure cooperates and if those pesky EU passport gates are operational. I have taken a look at the Brussels Airport website and the connections signs seem fairly straightforward. Your input regarding the length of the walk from B to A is very helpful.

1h30min is more than sufficient to make this connection. You inbound flight needs to de delayed by 1 hour or more upon landing at BRU in order for you to miss your connecting flight (which indeed will depart from an A gate) To walk from B gates to an A gate is very easy and doesn't take long. No need to worry.
