I have booked a flight with China Southern recently, travelling from Sydney Australia to Seoul Korea. The current situation is my passport is has less than 6 months till it expires. Would anyone know if the CS airline will deny boarding because of this? I will be arriving back to Australia before my passport expires and I am holding a Malaysian passport. And will immigration at Sydney airport deny access too? I called the Korean embassy and they said it shouldn't be a problem, can anyone confirm this?
Thank you in advance

Were knowledgeable about traveling, but not gurus. Use what the airlines do to decide if theyll allowvyiu to fly or not, TIMATIC, by filling the form in here: https://www.united.com/web/en-US/app...aspx?i=TIMATIC. Far better information than you can get from us.

You seem to have several issues/concerns
- A flight from SYD to China and on to South Korea
- Re entry into SYD on the return
FT cannot give immigration/visa advice. You are best to consult with a professional who works in this area.
Airlines will and do deny boarding if they consider the traveller does not have the correct documentation.
Correct documentation is always the full responsibility of the traveller.
