How do you start threads on this forum?

How do you start threads on this forum?
I've just signed up to this forum and the 'Information Desk' page I am posting on now is the only place where I can find a 'New Thread' button.
How does one post a new thread on any of the other sections?

PS: I've just been to the new members roll call as the advice is this is a good pace to first visit and there is no indication as to how to start a thread and no 'New Thread' button. Very strange.

1) Log in.
2) Open the specific forum in which you want to post (e.g, United Airlines, France, or TravelBuzz).
2) Click on the grey "New Thread" button near the UL of page, just above the list of "Threads in Forum."
