Priority pass - worth it?
Hello! I will be travelling from LHR T5 to Amman at the end of September; its a trip to celebrate a rather significant birthday
. I've seen a Groupon to buy a Priority Pass for lounge access and just wondered is it worth it? I don't know anyone with one so just wondered if it is one of those things which is more hassle than its worth to use? Was originally just going to book into the lounge for the return trip via Loungebuddy.
Any feedback gratefully received - thanks!

What level of PP membership is being offered and what's the price?

If you want to be guaranteed to have access to the Aspire Lounge in T5, you should book directly with Aspire.
I understand that lounge fills up quite quickly with all the various access schemes and PP is who they turn away first as opposed to those who have bought day passes directly from them.
They also price match other retailers (at least according to their website) so if you are getting a lower offer from LoungeBuddy they should match.
Here is the Aspire website: https://www.executivelounges.com/air...airport-lounge
Personally I'd rather save the entry fee money and just spend it while camping out in an airport bar or restaurant - but I understand the desire for a lounge. Do note this lounge gets very crowded so it might be a bit less hectic than being in the terminal itself but not considerably.

Look at the overall costs between going to direct/Lounge Buddy route and the Groupon route.
Using a lounge is quite nice. The Petra lounge over the Crown lounge in my opinion. The Petra lounge is available via LoungeBuddy.

There are also PP memberships that allow free visits so make sure you know which kind you are getting so you don't end up paying more than you anticipate
