Unaccompanied Minors

I am considering using this service to send my child to visit my mother (under 12) to New York
Which is the best airline to use? What are the costs? Is it true British Airways are ceasing this operation in the future?

This thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...s-airline.html as well as the travel with children forum generally may be helpful.
For questions regarding British Airways policy, please visit the British Airways forum.

I retract my statement. To my great surprise, BA is indeed withdrawing this service, I think from 1 May. There's a thread about it in the BA forum. It seems that it's not being used enough. Shame really.

Welcome to FlyerTalk.

Different airlines have different UNMR policies. I'm sure we could be of better help if you at least share the origin and destination with us, if you're unsure of which airline you're planning to use.

Unaccompanied Minors

since it's been 6 days since the OPs last visit, I don't think we need anymore posts saying "different airlines have different policies " or directing the OP to the appropriate fora.
