Welcome to Flyer Talk!
Search various websites. A good place to start is google.com/flights or matrix.itasoftware.com
Good luck!
This thread might be moved elsewhere but it should still show up here for a while so you can find it.

Depending on where you're flying from, also try suncountry.com a pseudo-charter airline which sometimes has flights to Alaska but which doesn't show up on kayak.
Welcome to FT, and good luck. Alaska is beautiful, you'll love it.
Safe Travels,

Alaska has many seasonal flights,
The sights are unreal, and the cost is very reasonable, depending on your flexibility.
Many college kids go up there for the summer to work, for me the .Keni area is Gods Country,,

Welcome to FlyerTalk, Coleen.
Part of the difference in fares is when you book, not where you book with whom you book. Use kayak.com's fare forecast in the upper left corner as a guide. Earlier this week for Los Angeles - Anchorage flights in July Kayak was predicating that fares were likely to come down next week. (Typically, in general, the lowest fares each week are Tuesday through Thursday, though whether that's true specifically for travel to Alaska and/or Alaska Airlines I'm not sure.)
By the way, you may to mention what your home airport is. Flying to Anchorage from Seattle is much different than flying to Anchorage from a small town at the opposite corner of the lower 48.
