visa validity time counts on Which time Zone
Hello All ,
I have small query it was not clear who team check with exactly.
I got Nation visa (type -d) for Austria(Europe) and visa validity starts on JAN 4th 2016.
I am planning to travel on same day to Austria from Hyderabad .
I am planning to Book Qatar Airways from Hyderabad to Vienna on JAN 4th Flight.
Flight departs at Hyderabad on 03:45AM IST timing on JAN4th and reaches vienna by 01:00 PM via DOHA
My question here is as flight departs in Hyderabad 03:45 AM IST which europen time is 11:15PM(03th JAN) . So does immigration at Hyderabad do they stop me for Boarding ?? the VISA validity counts the time zone also ?? or just date ?? reaching final destination as per visa validity only
Any one having Hyderabad airport immigration at departure email id to confirm with them ??

You are departing on the 4th local time and arriving on the 4th. It is highly unlikely they will calculate the timezone difference and realise when you depart it is the 3rd at your destination. Even if they do, you are landing on the 4th so you have no problem.

Tens of thousands of people fly from North America to Europe every day, and arrive the day after they left. While the majority of those people are U.S. citizens flying to countries for which they don't need visas or European citizens returning home, surely more than 100,000 every year need visas for their destinations. Some of those visas undoubtedly have validity that starts on the arrival date. You won't be the first person to have been in this situation. Relax.

Some countries routinely issue single entry visas with very small windows for entry and exit. In these cases, it wouldn't be unusual for the first flight to depart before the visa is valid.

One last time: Your visa needs to be valid on the date you arrive in that country.
