Tool for organizing and simplifying group flights
Is there some elegant online tool that allows for planning and managing (and ideally also directly booking) complex group flight itineraries, with people flying in/out of different airports on different hours/airlines ?

Maybe iI am not creative enoiugh, but I don't see how tripit would work for multiple travelers for the same meeting - it is great for one traveler to multiple meetings but I can't see how it can be adapted for meetings.
I think an old fashioned spread sheets like Excel (I know how mundane that sounds) but that is what I have used, and you can enter the data and then rearrange arrange it in multiple ways - by arrival times, airlines, departure times, length of stay, whatever parameter you choose.

Not to mention cross-traveler effects, like preferring a slightly more expensive flight if it allows multiple people to arrive at about the same time and share a taxi...
So I prefer having an assistant who can dedicate much more time and attention... and use something better than a spreadsheet to manage it all.

Here's another vote for excel. If there are several folks trying to keep track of it all, google docs can help too. Helps when organizing FT DO's.
