Help needed for flight to TLV
I need to fly one-way to TLV any time on Oct 4th (or very late evening Oct 3rd), from some more or less major city in Europe. It can be an award on any alliance, or a cheap paid ticket (up to $200, preferably much less).
Any advice on how to effectively search for this? Specific recommendations for departure cities and airlines will be much appreciated.

https://matrix.itasoftware.com/ will search multiple cities for you with +/- days. You can't book on that site but it does give you the fares.

Whose miles do you have? Even within the same alliance, the cost of an award can vary widely, both in terms of miles and $$$.
For award travel in Economy, using BA Avios on AB nonstops from Germany to TLV would probably be hard to beat. It's easy to search for AB award availability at aa.com: no log-in is required.

For cash travel, take a look at the TLV Airport Wiki -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Gurion_Airport -- and note the nonstops offered by discount carriers easyJet and Germanwings.
