Deciphering booking code?

Hi guys,

Recently had a flight booked by a travel agent, so I have no idea at all which codes refer to what - first time traveling on British Airways too so ain't familiar with codes. Most importantly I'm looking for the fare class, could anyone help me look for it? The flights are:

BA 33N 13JUN London Kuala Lumpur HK2 2015 1605 14JUN 7 /DCBA*ZOTDNP /E
BA 34O 17SEP Kuala Lumpur London HK2 2305 0525 18SEP 5 /DCBA*ZOTDNP /E

Secondly, I am in Qatar's Privilege Club and I need another 70 to be upgraded by a tier. Checking with their Qcalculator, it looks like I would need another 10 Qpoints to be upgraded. Can anyone suggest how I may go about earning this extra to qualify for the tier upgrade?

Thanks in advance and I hope this is the right place to ask - there is a huge trove of information here and I've been trying to figure it out for a while now, apologies if I have made a mistake!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry: BlackBerry8530/5.0.0.1030 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/417)

You're booked in "N" on BA 33, and "O" on BA 34.

Deciphering booking code?

for BA questions, the best resource is the BA forum.

For QR questions, the best resource is the QR forum.

Ask your travel agent to explain the fare classes and fare codes used in your ticket. [This is partly why you are paying a commission.] However, don't expect a travel agent to know much about FF programs.

From the QR website it appears you are correct that N and O class will earn you 60 tier points. If you are in need of 70 tier points, it looks like a cheap flight like LHR - BER - LHR earns 10 tier points for the lowest fare class on BA and 16 for a higher fare class.

Right now you can book a roundtrip that looks to book into "O" class (earning 16 tier points on QR) for $212 for a same day weekend turn.

That would probably be the easiest way to get the extra tier points needed to get to the next level.

Currently overseas, so I would probably end up doing this once I'm back in September. Thank you for the suggestion!
