Hello,
My husband and I are trying to get from DFW to CDG fro, 8/28 or 8/29 returning on 9/3-9/6. I have plenty of AA miles and MR and UR points.
AA: 230k each
MR: 200k total
UR: 150k total
I'm trying to book biz or FC. Anyone have any tips on where and how to get the most out of my miles. AA doesn't have any availability on a SAAver award. Thanks for any tips!

You could try calling AA to see if there is any availability into ORY (not CDG) on Iberia via MAD. IB award seats cannot be displayed on aa.com. You can also ask about availability on 9W's EWR/YYZ-BRU nonstops, if you are willing to take the train from BRU to PAR.

High season, last minute booking. Challenging, to say the least.
On AA, by using AAnytime awards on AA, you have access to seats as long as they're available for sale. A suboptimal use of your miles, but this late in the game it may be your opportunity. But check for other options, such as partner airlines airberlin, Iberia, etc. (Avoid BA unless you don't mind paying hundreds of dollars per person for their infamous surcharges.)
You have three "currencies" to spend so look at one way awards using one, return using another. It's not going to be easy this late in the game, but good luck.

What is 9w?
