BDA-LGW is a route with demographics that don't line up with Flyertalk. It is an almost exclusively leisure route for British passengers. Which is why you don't see many posts.

PS one of the threads I linked to was from 2009, and the other 2010, so I accept your apology.
All comedy aside, that's got nothing to do with it. High-end ex-UK leisure travellers are well-represented on FT, and the BA forum is the busiest on the site.

I suspect that the reason for the lack of info on this is due to the fact that most people would have better things to do than hang out in a pokey lounge in a tiny airport when they could be having a cold drink on Elbow beach. I seriously doubt much has changed in the way of furniture or gin selection.
To clarify, I wasn't saying high end leisure travelers aren't on FT. I'm saying they are unlikely to be the folks who get to the airport hours early to take photos of the crisps on demand when they could just stay at the Fairmont, then post a report. In addition, i was making the point of numbers, which I stand by. How many members of this board have flown BDA-LGW? In the past three years? Very few. It's a once daily flight (in season). Probably similar to the amount who have flown through Islamabad, so you should expect a comparable number of lounge reviews. Yes, the BA forum is busy - suggesting that if tons of FTers were on this route, someone would have posted in the past 5 years.

Also, detailed lounge reports are much less common for O&D destinations with less connecting traffic (particularly a presecurity lounge like BDA).

MUCH more likely to find such information in the BAEC forum than here.

I'd ask the question in the most recently responded to or most posted to thread and thereby bump up the thread to bring it to the BAEC denizens' attention.

I think we're saying pretty much the same thing, though it is worth pointing out that the BDA route generates significant business traffic, year-round. Bermuda has a huge insurance and asset management business, so professional service firms around that have a lot of people commuting to and from London.

Bermuda BA Lounge(s)

Im a frequent user of the Exec Club Lounges in BDA. They are actually BA lounges, as opposed to those operated by a 3rd Party. That being said, don't get your hopes up. There is no pre-flight dining in either lounge. The F lounge is very small, 12-14 seats from memory, and at times is limited to First passengers only. (I have been refused entry with a gold card once, due to capacity constraints.) The F cabin is full on a regular basis on the overnight LGW-bound leg, (esp. on Thursday & Fridays) The staff are friendly & professional, but the lounges are pretty basic. That being said, the hooch is free, (an important point on an island where a loaf of bread costs $6)
