Emirates Lounge Question

Hello,
I am an Emirates Gold Member and my wife an I are planning on taking an international trip in a few months but we will be flying on United and not Emirates. I was wondering since I am a gold member, if I can still use the Emirates lounge if I am flying on a different airlines.

Thanks

No, you cannot. Very few airlines (any?) allow you to use their lounges when flying on a competing airline (unless they are part of the same alliance and/or lounge programme). Depending on what airport you are travelling from you may wish to consider a lounge programme such as Priority Pass.
