Are "official representatives" verified on FT?

Is there any verification if a new member is indeed an official representative of an airline, hotel etc? If someone signs up with the user name of " Smith hotels" does anyone check to see if they really represent the "Smith" hotels group?

Thanks.

The representatives who have been verified by FT as authentic have their FT "handle" (username) in green font with "Company Representative" underneath. If a poster lacks that, they haven't (yet) been verified by FT.
