Welcome to FT, monique9!

Since your question does not belong to CommunityBuzz where you posted it, I am moving it to Information Desk where you might receive some response.

Flying standby and flying standby as a nonrev are two different issues. Nonrev procedures vary slightly from airline to airline. If you have a specific question, people might be able to help. Otherwise, you might want to search the forum for the airline at issue for the terms "nonrev" or "buddy pass."
In the future, I also recommend you use a more descriptive title for your post so that people who have relevant information will read it.

I would not be so quick to non rev especially with her nonexistent seniority. Second stay away from extremely popular destinations and in season travel dates to those destinations. If you have any questions about how to actually list for flights or what flights might have seats or get stuck for a week because there is no room for you, what airlines you can use, those issues should be directed to your daughter.

Welcome to FlyerTalk

Since your question doesn't properly fit in this forum, or in any other category on FlyerTalk, I've closed this thread to further posting. I would encourage you to take the previous advice of searching the forum for the specific airline (see http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/airli...-programs-374/) and discussing your questions with your daughter.

Good luck, and safe travels!
