LHR to Tokyo HELP

Hi there

So I know virgin is stopping this route in Jan, I am truly devastated, have flown this route for 6 years which means 6 years gold card holder and 1/2 million airmiles.
Can anyone offer any advice about what to do next. Do I fly ANA and then I can keep my tier points going, the thing is I only can book premium economy seats then upgrade using FC miles, but I fear I cannot do this with ANA.
Any help would be appreciated

No, you can't upgrade an ANA flight with FC miles. You can earn FC miles through ANA as per this table: http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/gb/en...n-airways.html

Another option is BA. LHR-TYO often has good business award availability, so if you have some avios you can book BA premium economy and upgrade.
