Pooling hotel program points?
Can spouses transfer points to each other in the SPG and IHG programs?

For SPG, the registered address have to be the same and must be so for at least 30 days before you can do the transfer.

That is one of the nice benefits of SPG. Unfortunately IHG charges $5 per 1,000 points to make a transfer, though there aren't any restrictions on the recipient.

Buying fresh ones is barely more expensive...until sept 22 at least
