skipping flight
Hello everyone,
I need your help.
Some time ago through expedia.co.uk I bought flight tickets from Amsterdam to Jakarta with Emirate airlines.
Question is: Can I skip return flight from Malang (MLG) to Jakarta (CGK)? This is not Emirate airlines, it is Garuda. I would like to start flying home from Jakarta not Malang. I guess probably it is possible, becouse flight from Malang is operated by Garuda, not by Emirates airlines.
Amsterdam (AMS) to Dubai (DXB) - Emirates 148
Dubai (DXB) to Jakarta (CGK) - Emirates 356
Malang (MLG) to Jakarta (CGK) - Garuda Indonesia 293 - This flight departs from MLG not CGK (I would like to skip)
Jakarta (CGK) to Dubai (DXB) - Emirates 359
Dubai (DXB) to Amsterdam (AMS) - Emirates 147
Any suggestions?
Thank You.

The remaining flights on your ticket will be canceled. [redacted]

The answer is: no. You can't pick up your homebound journey in Jakarta, you have to make the whole trip you booked, starting in Malang. If you try showing up in Jakarta you'll have to buy a new ticket.

You say you bought it on expedia, so I'm guessing all of these flights were included in a single itinerary. If that is the case, then skipping a flight in the middle of the itinerary will result in all of the remaining flights being cancelled. It doesn't matter whether the flights are on different carriers.
