Where are wiki rules?
Can those <500 posts contribute?
What about uniform format for all wikis?
E.g., I wish every cc wiki had updatable
"Is This Card Churnable?" paragraph.
The Barclay Arrival cc doesn't.
I want to add that subtitle to its wiki but I can't answer other than
"reports are one should wait minimum 4 months between applications"
But that's from my brief research of a few pages...
How can one add correct info to a wiki if one hasn't
read hundreds of posts wrt a cc?? Thanks!
How about a Churnable CCs permanent threadless wiki...?
(all churnable ccs' data in one location)
If one contribs info to wiki that one believes is correct &
it is not, is wiki simply corrected by another or is one
given one's coat & shoved out the door...?

If it's about a specific thread in any given forum, I would think to contact forum mods should give you some more definitive answers. FWIW, some wikiposts are set up in a way only MODs can edit/contribute to.

Unlocked Wikiposts may be created and edited by any logged-in member who has at least 90 days of membership and 90 posts. Some of FT's member-maintained wikis have guidelines for making edits. You should familiarize yourself with these guidelines before you start adding information or making changes.

On the other hand, as lin821 has pointed out, some Wikiposts are locked and may only be edited by a moderator. If you see a problem or error in a locked wiki, you should send a PM to the forum mods.

One cannot. The value of Wikis is that those who do know the answer to a question may post it there, saving others some of the time and effort of reviewing every post in a lengthy thread. This system only works if a large number of people take the time to contribute what they know -and- to update information as it changes.

It will never be the case that every thread will have a Wiki, nor will it ever be the case that all of the information in a Wiki is accurate. The reader will still need to perform his own due diligence before acting. Fortunately, deciding whether to apply again for a credit card is a low risk proposition.

In particular, stating whether a specific credit card is churnable is not a binary Yes/No status. The answer is always it depends, and a well constructed Wiki would lay out a set of factors to consider.
