Hi, I want to transfer miles from DL to AA? I have 9000 Delta Miles that I know I won't use and want to convert it over to AA. Is this possible, besides using points.com?
Will this be a valid trade if i posted it in Coupon Connection?
The problem is that you can't transfer DL miles to someone else. For trades, you would have to have enough miles to book a flight for someone else. Then, if you want AA miles, you would either need to trade with someone who can transfer SPG points to your AA account or have an itinerary you want them to book for you. All that to say: 9K DL isn't enough to do any trade with, and just FYI in case you get enough DL miles (via Amex MR if you wan to go down that route), I doubt you'll get 1 AA for 1 DL.
