Small Business: Authorized User Help
I just recently started a new transportation company with the help of my family. Due to credit issues in the past, I am not able to get approved for said offers as advertised. I stay in hotel about 15 nights a week and have been doing a lot of research online, but have not been able to figure anything out. Basically, my mothers credit is top notch and she is willing to put me down as an authorized user, but is it possible for me to get the rewards and accrue the rewards achieved? She never travels so there is no point for all the points/miles to go under her rewards account. My business is going great and I find it hard to believe that no credit card companies are willing to allow this. Especially considering I charge (and pay off) over $3,000 or more a month. A representative at IHG told me how to somewhat "piggyback" off the status she would attain from signing up for the CC offer, but overall I am at a loss. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Heck if there was an option to pay $1,000 to have auto elite status I would do that.
