Trying to avoid BPA
I'm trying to avoid contact with bisphenol A (aren't we all?) thermal paper and so would like to avoid boarding passes printed on that type of paper. And no, I don't want to depend on mobile phone passes and neither should you; always...ALWAYS...paper trail your trips.
I usually obtain my boarding passes from the check-in agent and can pretty much count on getting stock passes, but in the case of some Delta desks they're still on thermal. And kiosks almost always give out thermal. This is an issue for me because like most of you, I fly round trip w/ stops quite often (usually 2x a month).
What to do?

Get thermal paper printed pass, quickly pocket BP with little handling, find nearest restroom, wash hands well, use mobile boarding pass for all things?
Paper trail: check
Very little with contact with BPA thermal paper: check
Stepping into the modern area of all things digital: mostly check

I dont like the paper they have, but its too bulky to bring one piece of paper from home and, it would be bad for my image? Beggars can't be choosers. Pick your poison, this isn't a major crisis.
