A different kind of survey...
Fellow FT'ers, if you have a few minutes, would you mind taking a 4-6 minute survey about your airline loyalty?
This was supposed to be a very simple project for my Data Analytics class, but I decided I would instead go all out.

The survey will remain open through 23:00 EST, Monday, November 25th.
Thanks for your help!

Done. Some of the questions seemed pretty US domestically focused. The one about how much more you would pay to fly your preferred airline - really depends on the length of the flight. A LAX-LAS is very different to a SYD-LHR

Indeed! Thank you Vidrineb. I removed the "rank" question after only 20 responses because it was pretty confusing how to move the answers around and it was resulting in the answers being ranked exactly how they were presented.

Let me make a few minor changes, change the URL and restart the survey. Give me twenty minutes and I'll edit the post with a new URL.

Done. Would have been nice to answer "none" on several questions, e.g., which airlines are you considering leaving, et al. Some of the choices for miles flown should flown have started with 0, not 1. It suggests one might have flown thousands of miles on airline 4 or 5 when actually, zero were flown. Otherwise, enjoyed doing it.

I know what you mean, and it boiled down to simplifying how we analyze the data later. Non-mandatory questions can be skipped and it's tabulated as a skip or "none" on our side. We did it that way to try to speed up the time it took so people didn't need to go find "none" or 0.
We need much more data - especially from American Airlines and United flyers. From what we have so far, it looks like more people are flying Aegean Airlines than any airline which I know can't be the case.
I'm not allowed to cross post per se, so if you can nudge some of your friends toward the survey that would be fantastic. The goal is about 2000 respondents.

Moderator's Note:
Your MilesBuzz! moderators appreciate the support our members give us. Our volunteer task would be much more difficult if you didn't alert us to posts that need attention. Having said that, I want everyone to know that photojojo went through proper channels to obtain approval for posting this survey here.
Thank you!

Question 4 is mandatory. Questions 5-9 are optional but would be greatly appreciated as it directly ties in to a hypothesis we're trying to prove.

Ah! Yes. We added one of the questions about the programs in the 11th hour and forgot to check the instructions. Let me try to get back in there and correct that.
Responses are trickling in and unexpected patterns are starting to show in the filler questions. My favorite question was asked on a whim and is showing massively skewed responses. We have enough answers to satisfy the syllabus but because of the variety of answers we can get for this topic, we're really looking for as much data as we can get.
Thank you everyone who has taken the time so far.
