Closest Miles Above Elite Qualification ??
This is probably pretty common, but I hit 30 segments exactly last year to make Silver (less than 25,000 MQMs).

Closest Miles Above Elite Qualification ??
30 segments exact last year and probably 30.5 this year for silver elite. Can't get status through miles going to Chicago from EWR/LGA. Still need 8 more but I expect two more trips. Now to try to get a flight with a stop...

Last year I was at 24,979 with DL but I was worried they wouldn't round up so I flew another 1,000 EQM. The closest I ever cut it was 25,208 with DL in 2009.

If you really want the rollover you could consider crediting one of your flights to AF or something or just removing your Skymiles number. I'm not sure if you can do that for a single segment though, and you would not get any upgrades or other status perks.
