Please help...Delhi Hotels...

looking for a boutique hotel with a pool or a chain hotel with a pool for an extended stay of 4-6weeks..have previously stayed at Sheraton, Oberoi, Taj Mahal, Radisson, Meridein and enjoyed most, but have heard there are others, as well as two smaller properties wich unfortunatly dont have pools. Can anyone recommend us any other options thatn the "usual" suspects. we hope to be closer to the center of the city, but could stay a bit away if it was the right property. pool is a dealbreaker as it is so hot outside now! Boutique hotel will pool would be IDEAL...

last question, has anyone tried the Country Inn in Haridwar and is it clean and nice? How long does it take to get there from Delhi and how do you get there?

Please advise and thanks so much for your advice!!!!

Thank you!

I will check out the Lalit and appreciate your recommendation!

Can you possibly recommend anything similar in the Haridwar/Dehradun/Risikesh area? Have been to Ananda but they don't take children, so need another option. just need a clean, safe place for an overnight trip with my youngster.

Hi! Sorry i have never stayed in haridwar - in rishikesh stayed at this hotel near the laxman jhula - i forgot the name tho! Sorry!

About delhi - haridwar, you are better off arranging a driver with a toyota qualis who knows the area, the streets and all the little quirks about those places - a good driver with local knowledge will definately be able to make the trip more enjoyable. Try any local TA there - normally the concierge at The Lalit does the bookings for us.
you will definately enjoy your stay there, the staff, rooms etc everything is great - ive been staying there every year for the past 5 years and even had my engagement party there in Feb. If you do stay there, go to the bar next to the lobby - even if you dont drink alcohol the guys there will really take care of you - in particular one chap named Yogesh
