Transit In Mumbai

Good afternoon
This is my first post after a some what lenghty registering process!
I am planning a trip home to Bangkok and to maximise my BA tier points I planning to fly BA Club World to Mumbai and connect on to a Cathay Pacific flight to my final destination (also in Business Class).
My BA flight arrives at just after midnight the CX flight leaves at 04.50. Almost 5 hours!
Grim and bear it with a good book and bring my own sandwiches or reshudule onto the less desirable 777 ( prefer 62 A on the 747 upper deck) operated BA overnight flight which would mean a hotel booking?
I cannot decide what to do!
Any comment would be welcomed.

If you stopped over at a hotel, you'd still have to allow 1 hour at the airport to exit on arrival, and another 2 hours back at the airport for check in for departure, so you are really only spending another 90 minutes more at the airport compared to the hotel option. I would personally grin and bare it rather than add another 12 hours to my total travel time!

Anyhow as you are departing business class, Im sure you will have lounge access while you wait for the CX flight, so you should be at least reasonably comfortable with something to drink etc.
