DEL transfer and interlining...

Hi all

Further to my earlier post in another thread I will be doing the following:

arr DEL 0220 on 9W (QF codeshare from SIN, with original MEL-SIN also on QF), connecting at 0710 on GF to BAH (in J).

The advice has been to stay in the transit area - there are apparently some cots?? (any details on these?).

However - just occured to me that as my stay in CAI is only one day before returning to India - do I risk interlining the bags MEL-SIN-DEL-BAH-CAI? Or should I clear immigration in DEL and recheck just to be sure? (I'm thinking it might also fill in time!)

Advice appreciated.
