Security rules in New Delhi

The AA website now says that security rules for leaving Delhi are the same for those for people leaving the U.K. The U.K. rules say that, if you are carrying liquid prescription medication, you have to have it verified by a pharmacist inside the security area.

Does anyone know what they are doing in Delhi for people who have to carry liquid prescription medicine on the flight? Am I likely to get away with a small bottle of anti-inflammatory drops for my eyes and a small bottle of regular eyedrops? I am flying on American Airlines and they have not been able to answer my questions.
