Stupid question - Is this FTI-TTP program helpful on arrival? Just like global entry, would there be e-gates on arrival to avoid standing in line for immigration?

Yes

Yes

Thanks. I am flying to BOM end of this month but unfortunately would also be renewing my US passport in Jan 2025 as its running out of pages..so I guess I will wait to apply a few weeks before my next trip in April 2025 to BOM when I would have my new renewed passport.

Just used the gates again last night in DEL. No one in line, took less than 30 seconds to go through.

Anyone from Canada had success getting OTP, I have been trying for 2 months with options of Canada +1 and USA + 1 with multiple phone numbers, different times of the day but no go. I emailed the support but it was a bounceback. Any tip/help - I emailed [email protected] but got no response

I was having the same issue. I happen to also have a US number and used that which just worked. Something's glitched with Canadian numbers and their OTP system.

I have an Indian passport but I don't think it matters what passport you have once you are registered. The process is the same.

You first scan your boarding pass & then your passport. This opens the first gate. You step in & stand in front of the camera which takes your picture & finally it asks you to scan your finger. This will open up the second gate & you are through without the need of any stamp on your passport.

So even during arrival you scan your boarding pass from previous leg of flight? My question was related to on arrival.. If I arrive in India on a US passport and OCI whats the process? I understand during departure from India, I will have a boarding pass from the check in counter but whats the process on arrival?

(I didn't ask either).

Outbound from BOM last night.... There are 4 gates installed on the extreme right. Lights on and everything. 1 of 4 even had a green light implying it was functional. But, alas, no. Still not operational per the immigration officer.

Baby steps.

Yup, on arrival you scan the BP of your incoming flight.

Daughter's application got approved. Email requests her to do biometric in Mumbai (which she picked) or any airport which has the facility. Thanks to the poster who posted the reference letter .. That helped.. overall happy with processing times.

Hello Friends,

Mine and spouse application is processed and we have to complete the biometric formalities when we land in india next time. Until then i have to wait. But i have also applied for my son and the application is rejected with WRONG ADDRESS FURNISHED/ ADDRESS PROOF NOT FURNISHED. As he is minor but above 12 and he does not have an address proof to show in India or Canada. I can only provide Father(mine) and Mother's address proof for him. Please let me know how I should proceed.

Note: I have provided mine and spouse indian address proof and still it got rejected.

Send them an email asking what would count as address proof for him.
