Bubble flight confusion

Hi everyone! Just bought a ticket on KLM for a DEL-AMS-LCY sector. After buying the ticket, I realized that this flight might fall under the bubble flight restrictions and so I looked up what applies to flights to/from Netherlands, which is what KLM would be covered under:

Passengers travelling on flights from India to Netherlands should be destined for countries in the EU/Schengen area, South America or Africa only. Similarly, only passengers originating from countries in the EU/Schengen area, South America or Africa should be allowed to travel on the flights from Netherlands to India.
This puts a spanner into the works since the DEL-AMS-LCY is all in one PNR, with the ticket sold as a connection. There is a good 7hr connection between the flights since I do need to exit in Schiphol and attend a meeting before heading to LCY in the evening. I was hoping to let the luggage remained checked in to LCY since the meeting in Schiphol is only a couple of hours.

I am now wondering if it would not be wiser to make a split in the ticket wherein there is travel is split into a DEL-AMS and AMS-LCY segments, but both still on the same PNR and still on the same day. Or must I split this trip into two PNRs, even though I'd prefer to avoid that so that the whole trip has some level of airline protection against delays/cancellations.

Anyone have any insights into what to do here?

Europe is fine, if the bubble is enforced at all.

Finally got a response back. Yes, Europe is ok but the definition is apparently EU/Schengen. So the UK is not allowed to be transported.

We split the itinerary into two segments just to be safe.

I have flown DEL-AMS-LHR since the bubble nonsense started & faced no problems.

Also, when is your flight? There is a good chance regular flights may resume by next month.
