SFO - HYD Carrier help?
I'll be accompanying my wife to HYD on business. Of course, in economy class.
We'd like to take the opportunity to visit the Taj Mahal. I think we must fly to DEL and take the train to Agra. My questions are:
1. What is the best airline to fly economy (or perhaps premium economy) out of SFO to HYD?
2. Does it make sense to try and go SFO-HYD-DEL-SFO (or is it even possible?)
Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

Cathay, BA and Emirates are your best choices for 1-stop routings. Note that CX and BA do not have flights to/from HYD every day, though, so check your particular dates and see what's available. Of the three choices, I would personally choose CX, but it is personal preference.
For your second question, you can definitely return from DEL if that is convenient for you. It would save you the time and trouble of coming back to HYD, if you are able to plan your trip that way.
As for visiting the Taj, there are a number of threads on this forum regarding that and how to plan your trip. Take a look through... there is good info here. Most tourists seem to take a private car hire to Agra, but train is an experience in itself so the choice is really yours.

another vote for cx & they have a pretty decent premium economy product....
sfo-hyd-del-sfo definitely seems like a better option....
i would suggest taking a car from delhi to agra....depending on what you want to pay, there are certain travel agents who could get you an english speaking driver who would also act as your guide in agra....if you don't want to spend too much then the train is a better option....
