Transfer in Delhi - Visa needed?

Hello,

I'm planning to visit Nepal this March, flying with Lufthansa to Delhi and with SpiceJet/JetAirways/IndiGO/etc. to Kathmandu (separate bookings for the legs of FRA-DEL and DEL-KTM).

Do I need visa or are these carriers using the same terminal? As far as I know, both Lufthansa and SpiceJet using the same terminal (T3), so it can happen that I won't need visa at all.

However I can imagine that I will have to collect my checked baggages so will have to get through the immigration..

What is the process of transfering in Delhi in this case? We will have 6 hours..

Any help would be appreciated!
