Stopover in DEL

Hi everybody,

my GF have an upcoming flight FRA-DEL-BKK in June. We are planning to have a stopover in DEL for a couple of days as my GF wants to see the Taj Mahal. How may days would you suggest for a hassle free stopover to explore Delhi and visit the Taj Mahal? We thought about 4-5 nights. Any suggestions are welcome.

4 to 5 nights its plenty just for the TM. You can do it in say a 2-3 day trip. I would stay in Delhi the first night of arrival. Drive to Agra, see TM, stay the night there and dice back to Del the next day.

Thanks for your quick reply! What about Deli - Agra - Jaipur - Deli? How long would you recommend for that?

Driver

Just one more question. We decided to stay five nights and do a roundtrip Deli-Agra-Jaipur-Deli.

We will go to Agra right from the airport, stay there one night and do some sigthseeing in the morning of day 2. In the afternoon of day two well be going to Jaipur. Day three will be Jaipur sightseeing. On day four well be driving to Deli around noon. Day five will be Delhi sightseeing. On Day 6 well just go to the airport to catch to 2 pm flight to BKK.

What will we have to expect to pay (all expeses included) if we decide to hire a driver for the whole time?

More importantly, make sure you have an Indian visa since it is not available on arrival to citizens of most countries.
