Transit BOM

Hi,

I have done a search but couldn't find the exact info. I have a ticket BKK-BOM-JNB all ticketed as one ticket flying Thai and SA in business class. The Thai flight arrives at about 10pm and the SA flight departs at a bit after 2am, so approximately a 4hr transit. Australian passport holder. Will have checked luggage.

1. Do I need a visa for the transit?
Note: I don't think I do but I don't want to be denied boarding by Thai in BKK.
2. Will I be able to access the Star Alliance (I think Lufthansa) lounge during the transit?

Thanks in advance.

1. Nope (As long as your luggage is checked-through by Thai, which it should be and you have your BOM-JNB boarding card).
2. Yes (LH Business Class Lounge)
