buy e-reader in India

does anyone have any idea if / where we can buy (in store or online and get delivered) an e-reader (ideally sony) in India. My husbands fell down the side of the seat on the BA flight over hear and was completely squashed / broken.

we've tried to find somewhere online that can express deliver and the hotel staff have tried to help us out by calling local electronics stores but with no luck. if it help's we are in Trivandrum now, will be in Alleppy next, then cochin. many thanks in advance.

i believe i've seen one here in a shop in delhi....if you want details of the shop then let me know & i'll send you a pm....but i'm quite sure you should be able to find one on the indian ebay site....there are lots of retailers with online shops that should be carrying it on ebay....

there's just so many lovely second hand bookshops around in most indian cities .. stop by hyderabad and the sunday market in Abids if that's on your itinerary.

you can get ipads and ipads do have software versions of the sony reader.
