OCI application
Has anyone had any experience iwth applying for OCI card and then retracting the application becuase of a trip? Is it pretty smooth, or do they take their time in returning the passport to you?
I'm getting nervous they are handling the application, they are very slow.

I'm working with the embassy in SF.

I don't know what the process is in SF, but with NY, you don't need to send your passport until your file is approved. Did you send your passport with your application or do you still have it?
