Finally - inline baggage screening at BOM
Means you dont have to queue up to have your checked baggage scanned and tied up with a nylon strap (and in the case of soft luggage, bent out of shape by the damned strap). I dont think that system's limited to SQ at all.. just that SQ's addressing their own customers, on their website.

Mumbai Airport in-line baggage screening
02 December 2009
With immediate effect, all Singapore Airlines customers departing from Mumbai Airport (Chhatrapati Shivaji International) can proceed directly to check-in counters with your checked luggage.
You are no longer required to queue separately to have your checked luggage screened and strapped prior to check-in. This has been possible with the implementation of in-line baggage screening system on 26 November 2009.
Please note that Singapore Airlines check-in counters can be accessed via Gate B at the Departure Level. Our check-in counters will close 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

that is GREAT !!!
Now, what time would a F passenger flying to SIN be required to be at the airport if the flight leaves at 1150am?
I only have 2 check in bags and one carry on.

Well, BOM or other major indian airports were 2 hours ++ if you had to wait in line to scan your bags and strap them before checking them in.
Right now that part is cut out and there's just security. Is there still a priority F line at BOM immigration? If so security is your main pain and there aren't that many international flights likely to leave near noon, most of the flights out are midnight. I'd say an hour and a half should be ample, or a bit more - the new lounges at BOM are quite decent.

I usually leave the IC Lalit around 10.15am for that flight. At that time of the morning, there are no queues at immigration and security and its usually 15 min from car to gate.
