Airline switch in BOM

Airline switch in BOM
I am considering a routing of DXB-BOM-IXC for an upcoming trip. I have no experience with the BOM airport. I'd like to fly in from DXB on Emirates and options are flights landing at BOM at 0255 or 0815. I prefer the 0255 to try to catch a Jet Airways connection at 1020. If I had to do the 0815 arrival, would that be enough time to catch the 1020 to IXC? Would Emirates interline baggage with Jet Airways?

08:15 > Arrival at the International Terminal
10:20 > Departure from the Domestic Terminal
That's a 2 hour and 5 minute connection time in BOM!
While it has the potential to be made, I would think it will be very likely that you'd miss the connecting flight. I would not take that connection if offered.

Why dont you fly in at 0815, and then book yourself onto the other BOM-IXC direct flight - seems to be available for the same price as 9W.
