What's the story on AI's biz class? It is considerably cheaper than the other airlines (other than Icelandair) from JFK-LHR... Is there something I'm missing? I'm finding a $3400 fare for 1st to LHR and biz back, a good 2k cheaper than any other.

If you don't insist upon:
1. miles in a US based program,
2. the ability to change flight times (there is only one flight a day),
3. an arrivals lounge with shower facilties,
4. extraordinary booze choices in first class (Dom, Krug, JW Blue, etc.),
5. solo seats in first class (it's 2x2 seating on the 747s)
then you will be nicely surprised.
In AI's First Class, you can expect great service and delicious Indian food.
