How bad is IC in C?

Flying DEL-DXB and IA is pretty much the only viable option I have from a time perspective. Guess I can end up taking 3 hours longer going via Bahrain but doesn't make sense.

Wondering what people's experiences are with IA? Esp in international business class

IC J? Not bad, quite basic old style business class on some flights, rather newer if you get a 321 on that route. It is a 3 hour flight and perfectly adequate for 3 hours. Just dont run into irregular ops. And check in VERY early at DEL - IC doesnt offer online checkin so you might want to turn up about 3 hours before the flight.

The front of the plane is affected just as much as the back of the plane by irreg ops. Except for delays and such they are not a bad airline at all.

3 hrs?? Even in J? It's a 8.30 AM flight so I don't fancy being at airport by 5.30 AM..

I wouldnt cut it more than 2:30 hours though. The real delays arent in checkin, they're in outbound immigration and security. Hell, even getting into the terminal is an exercise in pain right now.

Comfortably handled with 2 hr buffer

3 hrs for J seems rather odd. I have done comfortably with 2 hrs buffer. Worst case, let the J class checkin people know and they'll send someone to get you through the immigration and customs lines.
