Question Transiting in KUL from 9W to CX

Hello,
I would be transiting in KUL from 9W to CX. Just wondering how smooth is the transfer in KUL? Any insights would be highly appreciated.

Thnx,
BT

Good question but it's a crap shoot really. Depends on whether you have a bunch of heavies arriving around the same time. The airport is huge and looks great but doesn't really handle large pax volumes very well; at least that's been my experience. Trains to get from the international satelite terminals to the main terminal can get very congested if you have more than 2 heavies unload around the same time.

If you're just hopping from one to another in the same terminal, it should be quick & easy. The international satelite terminal isn't very big. If you need to clear immigration, hop out of the plane quickly. The lines for non citizens get pretty long. Biz/first class passengers usually get to use the priority line (at least on the carriers that I fly, dunno about 9W).

I would be arriving from India and heading to HKG. So I guess I would stay in the international terminal.

Do all the international airlines arrive in the same terminal?
