Has anyone yet redeemed BluChips for an Indigo flight? Trying to determine the value of a BluChip. Obviously the program is still getting off the ground; the points balance on the Dashboard is labeled "IndiGo BluChips expiring soon" but FAQ says points are valid for 24 months.

Interestingly, FAQ also says that retroactive credit is available for flights taken before BluChip enrollment, within 90 days of flight. Will try this now and see how it goes.

Retro points claim for flights pre-enrollment is super easy and instantaneous.

There still doesn't seem to be a way to add the BluChip number to a reservation and automatically receive points for a flight.

This is true .. very annoying

There is a way to add it but it's broken. It's right there at the flight booking page: "add loyalty number." However, my wife added the BluChip number when booking yesterday, and today the number was gone.

Overall, the Indigo site and app are semi-functional at best.

Good to know. I signed up recently & have yet to do that. Have over 20 flights I need to add but just haven't found the time to go through all reservation emails & complete this exercise.

There's a 90 day window so best to do it sooner than later

Just a data point to share about flights crediting. I was able to add my BluChip number during the booking process on 14-December for a flight that I completed yesterday (27-Dec-2024). The FF# was printed on my boarding pass when I checked in and I received an automated email that the points were credited to my account within 3 hours of the flight landing. I also noticed that the activity page on the website shows "promised" points (basically upcoming flights yet to be flown) and that is also accurate based on flights I have booked and input the number.

Also sharing as a secondary data point, I had noticed previously that my birthday was prefilling incorrectly when trying to use a saved profile when logged in. I noticed yesterday when doing a future booking that this bug seems to be fixed now and my birthday is now populating correctly..

Finally redeemed our first BluChip awards. Very smooth process. One-way BBI>MAA, booked one week out, FlexiPlus, for 13,699 points per ticket plus fees of ₹1926. Whereas the same cash ticket was selling for ₹7,473. So we saved ₹5547 on each ticket.

Also our status recently got upgraded to Tier 2, so we're getting some extra perks that we haven't yet tried, like the Prime Passes.
