Vistara on two booking codes

Hello! I have a flight from SIN to FRA with 1:20 hours in DEL. I have two different booking codes for the two flights, but both flights are with VISTARA. (two reward bookings with M&M). Do you think that I have to go through immigration in DEL and pick up my luggage or can VISTARA merge this to keep me in transit and I can pick up the luggage in FRA?

This depends entirely on the checkin agent for Vistara in SIN. Some airlines wont allow such check-thru on separate tickets (even its own) if it is considered the pax is trying to evade pricing rules from the origin. Award tickets may be considered differently.

What is your Plan B if you cannot check luggage through? Probably insufficient time to collect bags and enter India and then make the check-in cut off.

What are the visa and entry requirement for India for you citizenship?

Given the quite tight time between flights of 1.20, I would not even attempt this - but would suggest do this with carry-on only to mitigate some risk.

It may pay to call the Singapore office and explain your situation and try to get an email you can show to checkin staff?

Good luck!

I go a reply on their facebook-chanel an they said that I should contact them 3 days before the flight and that they would merge the two booking codes. So no entry will be necessary in DEL. Let's hope the best

I doubt they will merge the 2 booking codes but I see no reason why they can't through check your luggage all the way to your final destination.

In the event that they don't, an hour & 20 minutes is not enough time to go through immigration, collect your luggage & check-in for your next flight.

They should check your bags through to FRA. It's highly unlikely that they will refuse that although the probability does exist.

I would advise you not to wait for T-3 days and call them to do it sooner. I don't think they will merger the 2 bookings. I suspect they will just put a note in the tickets.
