Air India International additional baggage for *G

Can someone confirm if Star Gold gets additional baggage allowance on Air India international flights or not. I know on Domestic their policy is very clear that they allow an additional 20KGs for *G.

For International it does not explicitly mention any additional baggage allowance for *G. Any ideas whether I will be allowed to carry an extra bag in Y or not?

Thanks in advance

It's an additional 1 extra piece where it's piece concept and 23/32 kgs where it is weight concept. Standard *G allowance.

Which route?

Most routes will give you an extra bag for star gold. Some routes allow extra weight which can be split between one or multiple bags.

Do they allow excess baggage only for the *G member or for all the companions too on the same reservation?
This is for a domestic flight on Air India.
On domestic, do they split the extra allowance between bags?

Only *G member. Domestic is weight concept. So the extra 20 kgs can be split across bags.

Thanks for all the responses. Flew day before. Can confirm that I was allowed an additional bag. Sector was DXB-BOM. Baggage allowance on ticket was the standard 30kgs. Was allowed to check-in two bags without any issues, no questions asked once I added the *G FFP number at check-in. First bag was 24kgs+ and second bag was 15kgs+ for a total of ~ 40 kgs.
