*Gold Baggage Policy with AI?
Hey FTers,
I've got a colleague who will be travelling from DEL to LHR later in the month in J with 4 bags. He's got *A Gold status from UA which should qualify him for 1 additional bag on his itinerary with AI. Checking AI's baggage website for flights to the UK I see that flights to LON get 3 checked bags included in J.
Could someone confirm if they'll be granted that extra bag, allowing them to check 4 bags?

I think he will have no problems, usually some AI check-in employees might have to be reminded of Star Alliance policies in my experience, but they do accept it after a consultation within themselves; and AI has traditionally a bit lenient towards J class pax anyway.

should not be a problem....i carried an extra bag over & above my business class allowance from del-jfk recently....
