Excess Baggage charges
Im trying to book a flight from BOM-MAD return for 12-Jan onward and 07-Mar return, the cheapest options were with 9W,AF. I got a routing via CDG, India - France operated by 9W and CDG-MAD operated by AF. The baggage allowance is 1 bag and Id like to purchase another bag. I called AF they told me to call 9W. I called 9W they told me I can only do this at the airport abd they cant tell me the charges in advance. Any ideas on whay the cost could be? Thanks in advance!

You'll need to purchase the excess baggage at the airport. Your bags will go through all the way to Madrid so you don't need to worry about re-confirming the allowance with AF.

your bag will be weighed at check-in & then only can they tell you how much it will cost....in general, jet will charge about $100 for your extra bag....
