Booking AI multicity with specific booking code

Ok, so I'm trying to book DEL-JAI-BOM in booking code G for a combination of flexibility I need and miles earning.

Air India call centre has been totally useless - telling me G code is closed and I should book in U instead (??? and anyway Experflyer shows G as wide open), and that anyway they can't process foreign credit cards.

The nearest AI ticket office is six hours round trip.

The TAs I have talked to here in Geneva want at least CHF100- for booking - crazy for a ticket that's hardly more expensive at only US$140.

Any ideas?
