E-Ticket Number on Boarding Pass

In my case, AIR INDIA printed entire etkt number on boarding passs. But EVA AIR printed some thing like this ****7909. The last 7909 donot match with EVA AIR etkt number.
So what are the stand practices?
What does the EVA AIR ones mean?

Did you mean to post a new thread or were you trying to reply to an existing thread?

You really need to stop starting a new thread for every tiny detail of your trip. So far you are up to seven. I think it have been about six months since I accumulated seven new threads. Please keep it all together.

In this case, what is your real question? Are you concerned that you're not going be admitted for travel, or that the ticket number is wrong, or just an observation that different carriers have different practices?
