Single PNR with stopover - Baggage Allowance
(Started new thread because couldnt find a suitable thread to add this post. Moderator please move to an appropriate thread if one exists)
This much is pretty much clear about 9W:
When travelling on separate tickets, domestic baggage allowance apply and when travelling on single PNR from US (all segments on 9W on ticket issued by 9W), usual 2 piece (23 kg each) baggage allowance applies.
question:
what happens to baggage allowance when there is a 1 week stopover built into that single PNR? (Jet customer service has given 3 different answers)
outbound: EWR-BOM-(transfer)-BLR-(destination)
inbound: BLR-BOM-(1 week stopover)-EWR
all segments on 9W on ticket issed by 9W in US
question:
what is baggage allowance for BLR-BOM on return (would 2 bags be allowed even if bags are not be booked to final destination due to stopover?)

The baggage allowance will be clearly mentioned on your ticket. Pricing a sample in N shows that (2 pieces allowed on any segment)

Thank you to both of you for quick responses
Answers from Jet were (all calls within few minutes of each other)
i) No because of stopover
ii) Yes - anyone travelling to US gets 2 pieces on all our flights (mostly correct answer but failed to clarify that single PNR is needed)
iii) "Sir, it is difficult to say as it depends on what the check-in agent will allow"
